CSM BA (Hons) Architecture Part I

For our final year 1 brief, we were asked to design a non-traditional school for the Chapel Market area. Settling on collage as a form of connection, self exploration, and growth, the proposal quickly centered around the garages that existed on site. Transformative re-use and forced circulation were important tenets to the final work.

Our final brief of the year involved crossover with the site of our previous project, building on knowledge we had developed about the community and conditions of Chapel Market. Collage has always been an important part of my practice and process across disciplines, so I wanted to embrace that and make it the center of my work.
